Here is a picture of me on the first day of Week 1 (right) and on the last day of Week 1 (left).
I can tell a difference already in my clothes, and I have had people at work and friends already tell me I look smaller.
(I usually lose a lot my first week of dieting, I think drinking more water helps me look less bloated)
So far the meal prep has been amazing!
Joel (my husband) and I both agree that we haven't been bored with eating the same 6 meals for 7 days.
I think making sure that we prepare foods we already know we both like helps that a lot.
Cons:
I really don't have any cons, so far it has been simple and easy, and I look forward to all my meals.
Prep day takes a few hours and you have to do about 3 or 4 loads of dishes, but I was already prepared for that.
Another con could be the start up cost of getting enough tupperware if you don't already have enough- but those are the only bad things I can think of.
Pros:
I don't have to cook during the week, which saves me a lot of time.
I don't really have to do dishes (except on meal prep day), I just stick the tupperware in the dishwasher when we are done and then start the load when we fill the washer up.
I dont have to worry about making good decisions- I know right where my food is when I'm hungry and I dont tempt myself by looking anywhere else.
I'm not really hungry- I made 6 meals and snacks for us both per day, so it almost feels like you are constantly eating.
Favorite meal Week 1:
Mh: Breakfast! My light english muffin with my laughing cow cheese and tomatoes...
Joel's: Bbq chicken, brown rice, beans with goat cheese
Least favorite meal Week 1:
Mh: The carrots, bell peppers and cheese (I just don't really like raw bell pepper that much)
Joel's: One day he had to substitute his low carb wrap for an english muffin and he didn't like the english muffin very much
Tips:
Keep meals that you are worried about going bad frozen until it's time to eat.
On meal prep day, CLEAN AS YOU GO! (always).

much love
